There couldn’t be a better way to begin our Vineyard Weekend Escape than by arriving at Chateau Elan on the night of its annual Grand Illumination.
On Friday evening, December 4, Chateau Elan will officially kick off the holiday season with its annual Christmas tree lighting celebration. After we arrive from Charlotte and get settled into the resort, we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the festive atmosphere, holiday music and the beautiful moment when Chateau Elan’s Christmas tree is illuminated for the season.
It’s the perfect introduction to a December weekend at the vineyard and an unexpected addition that makes our arrival night even more special. Before we move into Saturday’s private winery tour and tasting and the Crimson & Gold Soirée, we’ll get to start the weekend surrounded by the warmth and magic of Christmas at Chateau Elan.

Charlotte-departure guests will board our private luxury coach for the return trip, while Meet Us at Château Élan guests will depart at their leisure.
However you joined us, the goal is the same: to head home feeling refreshed, connected, and glad you gave yourself the weekend.
