I’m Kareena - Certified Cruise Counselor (CCC), Concierge of Curated Escapes, and founder of Wanderlust Escapes Travel and The Vow Collective by Wanderlust Escapes. My passion for travel was born from a lifelong love of discovery, nurtured over decades of unforgettable journeys around the globe.

I launched Wanderlust Escapes with a simple, heartfelt prayer: “God, let my gift make room for me.” And He did - guiding each step, weaving divine connections, and opening doors that only He could open.

What began as a quiet hope blossomed into a calling: the opportunity to turn a lifelong passion into purposeful, curated experiences for extraordinary travelers around the world. Wanderlust Escapes is more than a business - it’s the fulfillment of that prayer, rooted in faith, gratitude, and a deep commitment to crafting journeys touched by heart, care, and intention.

This year, I expanded my mission with The Vow Collective - a dedicated line of my business created for couples seeking elevated destination weddings, vow renewals, elopements, honeymoons, babymoons and milestone escapes. The Vow Collective is where love stories meet luxury, and where every celebration is designed with grace, authenticity, and refined attention to detail. It’s not just about the destination - it’s about honoring your commitment with beauty, meaning, and heart.

Some of my most cherished memories are the annual mother-daughter trips I’ve taken with my daughter, a tradition we began when she was just five (her first trip to Disney World) - and one we proudly continue today, now that she’s 30. These moments have deepened my belief that travel is more than movement; it’s about connection, legacy, and creating stories that live on.

Travel has also brought me amazing friendships. I have three extraordinary women - my Travel Besties - who’ve become family through years of shared adventures. From celebrating my 50th in South Africa to sailing away on our next cruise, these moments continue to shape how I craft travel with intention, joy, and care.

I also carve out time for solo journeys - personal getaways that allow me to reconnect, reflect, and rediscover the world on my own terms. Most recently, that meant an 11-night Mediterranean cruise aboard Virgin Voyages' Scarlet Lady for my birthday. These solo experiences enrich the way I curate travel - infusing each client itinerary with empowerment, ease, and inspiration.

Through years of partnerships with luxury resorts, top cruise lines, and boutique travel specialists, I’ve cultivated the expertise to design seamless escapes tailored to your vision. Whether it’s a private villa retreat, a curated celebration at sea, or a destination wedding under the sun, I craft experiences that feel personal, polished, and deeply unforgettable.
